Depois de muito pensar neste assunto eis que, chegado ao meu quarto de século, devo apresentar um relatório qualitativo dos melhores 100 filmes que já vi. A great deal of maintenance required.

The bad is that I don't know
how to be with you right now
And it scares the shit out of me.
Because if I'm not with you right now, I
have this feeling we'll get lost out there.
It's a big, bad world
full of twists and turns,
and people have a way of

the moment that could've

I don't know what's going on with us,
and I can't tell you why you should waste
a leap of faith on the likes of me...

New Political Managment 2

Marcello quer avançar, mas quer tempo para apalpar o terreno. Quer uma reunião de sensibilidades, ou seja, quer dar uma abada intelectual aos populistas lá da congregação PPD para sair de lá como líder reforçado. Se o Governo minoritário se desgastar bem ao longo deste ano, o que é provável pois terá um BE e um CDS para fazerem esse estrago, o PSD neste momento tem a líder ideal – caladinha, murchinha, velhinha – que deixará o PS governar com atritos à direita e à esquerda desgastando-se sozinho, para futuramente, graças ao elan de um novo líder, o PSD transformar-se numa oposição forte e capaz de provocar indirectamente eleições antecipadas (com o painel de actuais comentadores afastados das listas e com o PS desfalcado nesse campo, a comunicação social pode muito bem ajudar), que só ocorrerão daqui a 2 anos e meio – na queda de um 3º orçamento de Estado (e Marcello frisou isso muito bem). Marcello tem a faca e o queijo na mão, pois mesmo que não consiga vencer este PSD “balcanizado” e que o vencedor seja PPCoelho, que muito sinceramente não deve durar mais do que LFMeneses (pois não tem ninguém da sua confiança pela AR, que o fragilizaria imenso) se não tomar a opção correcta de apoiar Marcello para PR! Com Cavaco desgastado e com um PS-Direita que quer Jaime Gama para lá e um PS-Esquerda que quer Alegre, as portas estão abertas para o consenso de direita (PSD e CDS) no apoio a Marcello. Assim, Marcello ou é líder do PSD ou é candidato a PR. Ambas as opções são apetitosas, daí o tabu.
Rangel se for coerente, sabe que está muito bem por Bruxelas, protegido dessas intrigas e a capitalizar com o tempo. Num futuro mais distante talvez saiba quando avançar.
Uma nota final para o Lello do PSD – ABranco – é por causa dele e de pessoas como ele (e há muitas na politica) que a politica portuguesa me desilude tanto. ABranco é um oportunista de primeira. Foi aquele que tentou e conseguiu, por meios de “low politics” que já nem nos EUA se usam, puxar LFMeneses à demissão, e agora, sabendo que MFLeite não dura muito mais, já começa o caldinho para líder parlamentar, tentando assegurar quanto antes CV suficiente para se tornar Senador e consequentemente comentador bem remunerado caso a coisa dê para o torto, ou para se tornar no elo de ligação entre os Ferreiristas e os que virão. Mas fica cá a minha dúvida – a voz que se levantou contra ele foi Mota Pinto – e se bem sei de politica, essa voz é muito mais interessante de manter, quer para Marcello, quer para PPCoelho do que ABranco. O futuro (talvez quinta-feira) poderá desvendar o véu para mais um mandato escaldante no PPD/PSD.

Recordando The Libertine
